Montdami Constructions has been a leading civil contractor for over 45 years, and we are heavily invested in facilitating the Great Australian Dream of home ownership. For the past four years we have been working towards a residential vision – an estate of 800 homes nestled at the foot of the Dandenong Range.

Almost 44 hectares of the complete site will require land filling for development, and the remaining 21.61 hectares will remain as floodplain, ensuring a lush surrounding that will attract wildlife and provide a wetlands habitat that can be enjoyed and viewed by using the planned boardwalks and pathways.
In keeping with the green ethos, we are the ideal construction company to play an instrumental part in the development of the area. In 2019 Montdami Constructions commenced the Phase One bulk earthworks, transforming an area of over 260,000 square metres and handling more than 500,00 cubic metres of raw material to construct a solid platform for constructing the roads and services required to support residential dwellings. Construction of roads and drainage infrastructure is due to be completed early next year.
While the original plan was to excavate and dispose of existing unsuitable fill (500,000 cubic metres or over 90,000 truckloads), we have the ability to work with the client and their engineers to provide a viable alternative in reusing the bulk of the excavated material on site. This will result in significant time and cost savings, and will add to the sustainability of the project by reducing carbon emissions and the presence of heavy vehicles on the roads.
